Ghazi Taimoor founded The Learning Group on a simple conviction: Pakistan’s organizations don’t need more training, they need to rethink how their people think, lead, and work. A Chartered Accountant from the UK (ICAEW) with a Master’s in Education from Harvard and a BSc from the University of Warwick, he was a Learning and Development consultant at KPMG London before moving into education full time. At LUMS he built and led the Executive M.Phil in Education Leadership and Management and served as Head of Professional Education at the School of Education, where he still teaches. His work has reached the Office of the Mayor of Indianapolis and the Ministry of Education of Liberia, and he has trained thousands of people across Pakistan, the UK, the US, Tanzania, and Liberia. Recognized with the Education Entrepreneurship Award from the Harvard Innovation Lab, he has delivered three TEDx talks in London, Lahore, and Karachi.

Ali Nomani is an educational leader who has coached CEOs and advised governments, foundations, and NGOs worldwide. Selected as an Urban Scholar at Harvard, he earned his Master’s in Education Leadership on a full scholarship, then led an MIT-affiliated charter school and became a fellow of the Lynch Leadership Academy at Boston College. He co-founded The Catalyst Group and Outclass, and returned to Pakistan as an advisor to the Syed Babar Ali Foundation.

Formerly Director and Senior Fellow at the Institute of Development and Economic Alternatives (IDEAS), his counsel has been sought by the World Bank, UNDP, DFID, and the Asian Development Bank. He holds a Doctorate in Economics from McGill University, a Master’s in Philosophy from the University of Punjab, and two Bachelor’s degrees from the University of Oxford and Government College, Lahore.
