Ghazi Taimoor founded The Learning Group on a simple conviction: Pakistan’s organizations don’t need more training, they need to rethink how their people think, lead, and work. A Chartered Accountant from the UK (ICAEW) with a Master’s in Education from Harvard and a BSc from the University of Warwick, he was a Learning and Development consultant at KPMG London before moving into education full time. At LUMS he built and led the Executive M.Phil in Education Leadership and Management and served as Head of Professional Education at the School of Education, where he still teaches. His work has reached the Office of the Mayor of Indianapolis and the Ministry of Education of Liberia, and he has trained thousands of people across Pakistan, the UK, the US, Tanzania, and Liberia. Recognized with the Education Entrepreneurship Award from the Harvard Innovation Lab, he has delivered three TEDx talks in London, Lahore, and Karachi.

Saima Rana is faculty at LUMS and Head of Operations at the National Incubation Centre Lahore, where she built the Foundry mini-MBA bootcamp and led the first Pakistani cohort into the Stanford Seed Spark Program. A certified entrepreneurial coach with over two decades teaching business management, she specializes in customer engagement, sales, and go-to-market strategy.

Sannia Hussain is adjunct faculty and a trainer at LUMS, with an advanced degree in English Language Teaching from the University of Reading. A former British Council trainer and current IELTS examiner, she coaches leaders in communication, public speaking, and storytelling through interactive, scenario-based sessions.

Jazib Zahir is CEO of Tintash, a software studio that has built products with Sesame Workshop, the BBC, and Carnegie Mellon University, and Director of the LUMS Centre for Entrepreneurship. Holding an Ed.M from Harvard and a BS in Electrical Engineering from Stanford, he helps organizations harness AI to optimize workflows and amplify strategic output.

Ali Nomani is an educational leader who has coached CEOs and advised governments, foundations, and NGOs worldwide. Selected as an Urban Scholar at Harvard, he earned his Master’s in Education Leadership on a full scholarship, then led an MIT-affiliated charter school and became a fellow of the Lynch Leadership Academy at Boston College. He co-founded The Catalyst Group and Outclass, and returned to Pakistan as an advisor to the Syed Babar Ali Foundation.

Dr. Faisal Bari is Vice Chancellor of the National Institute of Technology (NIT) and an Associate Professor of Economics at LUMS, where he has served as Head of Department and Dean of the School of Education. Formerly Director and Senior Fellow at the Institute of Development and Economic Alternatives (IDEAS), his counsel has been sought by the World Bank, UNDP, DFID, and the Asian Development Bank. He holds a Doctorate in Economics from McGill University, a Master’s in Philosophy from the University of Punjab, and two Bachelor’s degrees from the University of Oxford and Government College, Lahore.

Ale Imran Siddique brings over 30 years in finance and management and is a Fellow of ICAP, ICMAP, ICSP, and PIPFA. Beginning his career at A.F. Ferguson & Co. (PwC), he went on to senior roles as CFO and CEO in leading multinationals. As a lead trainer for ICMAP and ICAP he has run over 200 programs on corporate governance, financial management, and business law, and holds Distinguished Toastmaster (DTM) status.

Dr. Farah Said is Executive Director of the Mahbub ul Haq Research Centre and an Assistant Professor of Economics at LUMS, with fellowships at IDEAS, CERP, and J-PAL. Her research on gender, labor, and microfinance appears in leading journals, and she has held positions at the Lahore School of Economics and the University of Göttingen. She trains teams in program evaluation, behavioral economics, and data-driven decision-making.

Angbeen Atif Mirza is an Assistant Professor at the Shaikh Ahmad Hassan School of Law at LUMS, with a B.A. LL.B from LUMS and an LL.M from the University of Michigan. Former Director of the LUMS Office of Accessibility and Inclusion and a board member of the Digital Rights Foundation, she designs training around accessibility, inclusion, consent, and building equitable team cultures.

Atif Rahim Khan has over two decades in executive education, coaching, and consulting, and serves as a Stanford Seed Consultant supporting companies across Africa and Asia. A two-time LUMS Teaching Star and Teaching Excellence Award winner, he teaches across Executive MPhil, MBA, and undergraduate programs, and has coached founders at the National Incubation Centres in Lahore and Quetta.

Irtifa Nasir is an entrepreneur and communications consultant, and founder of The Tinkers’ Collective, a creative community of over 2,000 young professionals she built in 2021. With a degree in Mathematics from LUMS and a specialization in Advertising from the University of Florida, she designs high-energy team-building programs and advocates for well-being in professional settings.

Sanina Batool Gilani is a facilitator specializing in 21st-century learning and STEAM-based curricula, with a Master’s in Art Education. Currently Senior Manager Trainings at The Citizens Foundation, she has led programs on project-based learning, lesson planning, and synthetic phonics, training educators across diverse backgrounds and cultures.

Anushka Peracha is a trainer and mental health counsellor with over 10 years of experience across Argentina, Canada, and Pakistan. Holding degrees from Western University and Beaconhouse National University, she helps individuals and teams with work-life balance, conflict resolution, and building a positive, resilient team culture.

Saima Asghar is an education consultant with over two decades of experience and a TESOL qualification from Warwick University. Founding Director of LCWU’s Directorate of Faculty Development and Internationalisation, she has taught at Warwick, LUMS, and Kinnaird College, and introduced Pakistan’s first mandatory university-level Citizenship program with the British Council.

Iram Nawaz is a learning and communications consultant with over 15 years of cross-cultural experience spanning LUMS, Microsoft USA, and HP Networking in Silicon Valley. At HP she trained over 35,000 sales team members, and she now helps professionals build distinctive personal brands and high-performing, cohesive teams.

Hassan Bin Shaheen blends law, performance, and training. A UK-trained corporate lawyer and 2015 Public Speaking Champion at the World University Debating Championship, he brings improv training from iO Chicago and London to his sessions. He has worked with K-Electric, the British Council, and Unilever, and teaches at Habib University and IBA Karachi.

Marriam Musa is an education consultant specializing in training, curriculum design, and technology integration, with a Master’s from Stanford. Now Director of Regional Development at The Citizens Foundation (UK), she has led widely covered initiatives on distance learning and edutainment during the COVID-19 crisis.

Saad Sheikh is Founder and CEO of The Colony, a multidisciplinary art house, and an executive coach in presentation skills, executive presence, and voice. A filmmaker trained at NCA and director of over 25 theatrical productions, he shared his philosophy in the TEDx talk “The Art of Unlearning.”

Hashim Ali is an award-winning visual storyteller and art director, and a graduate of the National College of Arts. A Sadequain Pride of Performance awardee who has shaped fashion, film, and television shoots across Pakistan, he delivered the TEDx talk “Why Failure is My Greatest Achievement.”

Dr. Mariam Haider is a clinical psychologist with over 16 years of experience across children, adolescents, adults, and families, specializing in psychological and psycho-educational assessment. She holds a PhD in Applied Child/School Psychology from McGill University and practices at the Lahore Children’s Centre.

Mashhood Ali Rastgar is an engineering leader and Google Developer Expert with over 15 years building scalable digital products. Now Head of Engineering at Taleemabad and formerly CTO of Sastaticket.pk, he integrates generative AI into organizational workflows and has spoken on AI and web technologies across Europe, the Middle East, and Asia.

Dr. Maryam Mustafa is an Associate Professor of Computer Science at LUMS and Director of the National AI Hub, working at the intersection of AI, human-computer interaction, and gender. Founding Director of the Gates AI Center for Maternal and Newborn Child Health, she holds a PhD (Summa Cum Laude) from TU Braunschweig and an MSc from Cornell.

Dr. Tareena Musaddiq is an Assistant Professor of Economics at LUMS, researching education, health, and development economics. With a PhD from Georgia State and prior roles at Mathematica and the University of Michigan, her work appears in leading journals and has been covered by NPR, The Washington Post, and PBS.

Badar Khushnood is a technology leader who was Google, Facebook, and Twitter’s first representative in Pakistan. Co-founder of Bramerz and Fishry.com and former Chairman of P@SHA, he curates the MS in Technology Management and Entrepreneurship at LUMS and led the drafting of Pakistan’s first e-commerce policy.
